hello pete! great job there! quick question i have a dual 2 stage tennant, i currently have a 1.5″ vac hose, my friend says that upgrading to a 2″ is a lot better to suck more dirty water. however he is another rookie like me… is he right though?
oh ok. I’m in the process of starting my own carpet cleaning company and I was very impressed with your video. You guys did a great job. I also plan on using the rotovac with a wand for my business. I see you just rinsed with the wand at the end, what kind of carpet shampoo did you guys use with the rotovac before rinsing with the wand?
Do you use a carpet detergent with the rotovac and then also when you use the wand at the end? Or are you only using hot water with no detergent when using the rotovac and wand scrubbing? Or do you use carpet detergent with the rotovac and then rinse with just hot water with the wand?
looks good guys. I always tell our customers I do t condone systems I condone operators running the equipment. Our business offers two systems both have pros and cons, regardless they both work.
Wow! That is amazing and how the transforming just makes it look impossible. I have watched your video maybe 4 times now and I am stock of the amazing results I see. I am interested in the carpet industry. Any advices?
thats very impresive Pete! keep watchn this video over and over and everytime i cant beleive the results. how longa have you been in business. and is it better to save up or take a loan out on equipment?
Hey pete i started cleaning carpet approx.6mths ago when i got laid off.I’ts just me, my expedition and a small portable carpet cleaner(hoover) not very efficient but i get the job done(residential) and it looks good but takes forever i average 3 to 5 hours for 3bd 1lvg rm. I see the potential for this to be a very lucrative business but i have started working again and have slacked off on carpet cleaning. I need some advice on how to turn this into my only income through bus.contracts&goodequip
@Pete De La Puente thanks for info. I also used cold water with washing detergent on a heavily soiled carpet as a pretreatment and the 360 done a wonderful job. The carpet was full of animal feces but the rotovac and cold water easily cleaned it up. I believe all those fancy chemicals are just a sales gimmick The real cleaner is the person cleaning
Good choice of music with the video..Us newbies can learn alot from Professsionals like you.I just did a search on Powerburst and Sundial…On a basic residential job, would you just use the Sunburst for Prespray? and for really soiled jobs use the Power-burst? I have been looking for the right chemical package for 99% of my jobs. Can you please tell me in detail the mixture and applications so I can get it right the first time..Im about to order both..Sundial is organic…Thank you in advance…
How come you guys used a rotor and a wand? Isn’t is clean enough after the rotor? I always thought the rotor cleaned better anyway. Is that true?

Sometimes, I just shudder at the thought : People live like that. The carpet was toast.
i would say only as good as the tech. look at that lady running around with the spotter, good job. Some cleaners just go over it and move on.
Were ONLY as good as our tools! There’s a tool for every job…That’s way we have a van load.
“don’t”

Yes we can give you some help and if you want to do a ride along your welcomed.

Exactly! I only use a few chemicals….No need to spend my hard earned Money.

I use 2 cups of Power Burst and 6oz of sundail…Thanks!
Yes you can use Porty instead of VAN mount but the VAN mount is WAY faster!
Yes you can it’s just a lot more work using a porty.
I don’t issues with dark carpet….Lot of guys use soap in their rinse water so that would leave a residue….
We spray our soap down and rinse carpet with soft water…NEVER had the problem your speaking of.
Have you used a ROTOVAC 360I before?
Maybe you have a clogged vacuum line OR Felt ring is damaged OR your pressure is set TOO high…..
If used properly then you should have 2 hour dry times…Sorry you fell that way.
Leaves Carpet Soaking WET! The Don’t extract VERY WELL!!!!!!
It looks good on a light carpet. But on darker carpets residue is a big problem
I’ve been reading on a lot of forums lately and many have said they use the rotovac with a portable.
can you use this 360 powerwand with a portable machine (instead of the van mount)? Very impressive. Did it cost a lot to get in your business?
